Giloy (guduchi) is an Ayurvedic herb that has been used and recommended in Indian medicine for centuries. In Sanskrit, Giloy is known as "Amrita”, which literally means" the root of immortality " because of its rich health benefits. The Charak Samhita is described as one of the Medhya rasayanas (rejuvenation of the mind). The properties of herbs called "Rasayana" provide longevity, improve memory, strengthen the immune system, increase the body's resistance to infections and improve overall health. It also has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, anti-arthritis, anti-allergic, anti-diabetic, and wound-healing properties.
