No matter what time of year it is, I drink hot water with ginger every day and it keeps my metabolism going at top speed 😉 For people asking me about healthy ways to lose weight, I say: start by drinking ginger infusions regularly. It's important to never, ever drink them cold, as this puts out the digestive fire.
So I always have a piece of ginger in the fridge, and when I go on a trip, I take it with me, as well as mascara.
Preparation of the infusion
Finely chop 5 cm of ginger and brew in 1 litre of water. Leave it overnight. The next day, treat the infusion as an essence, i.e. mix it in a half-and-half cup with boiling water. The drink prepared in this way will have a high concentration of active ingredients from the ginger.

Accelerated metabolism is actually the tip of a mountain made up of benefits alone. ☺ The beneficial properties of ginger are particularly evident in winter, when there is snow and frost outside the window. Such an infusion boosts the body's immunity and warms it up. It also has an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect, which is great for preventing all the illnesses typical of the winter period.
Regularly drinking ginger infusions also eliminates the feeling of hunger, making weight loss even easier. Speaking of ginger's properties, its effect on concentration cannot be forgotten - by improving blood circulation in the brain, it increases the ability to focus. Studying or working with a cup of ginger can therefore replace over-consumed coffee in many fields.
The prepared concoction works on the body not only from within! An infusion of ginger is perfect as a body tonic - it disinfects the skin and cleanses the pores.
